Every day I’ve been getting angrier when I think about how maga, the so called alpha male bros, always punch down at people who are less fortunate or struggling.

This isn’t manliness. It’s cowardly, it’s shameful, and it makes you look like a tiny little douche face

I tried this on a manuscript—I’m impressed! It flagged:

- A missing variable in a first-order condition
- An outdated manual calc (“drop from X to Y is not Z%”)
- Inconsistent notation
- Miscellaneous typos (“and and”, “+ +”)
- Missing subscripts
- Several unclear passages

Have these supposed negotiating tactics ever yielded success for the United States and its allies? I cannot think of a single concrete example.

And if they never result in negotiated gains, why is anyone still calling them negotiating tactics, let alone presenting them as good ones?

President Trump’s furious rhetoric toward Russia is “a negotiating tactic” intended to pressure the Kremlin, a White House official said, a day after Trump delighted Ukrainian leaders by embracing Kyiv’s ambitions for a defeat of Russia.

There are many issues with GenAI detectors but pretty soon there will be another one: I already find myself writing more like ChatGPT even when I'm not using it!

I think a lot of it is fear b/c they're not even standing up for things they SHOULD care about (like government non-interference with businesses)

Very sad how easy it turned out to be to take down "the land of the free and the home of the brave." I really did think Americans were different and wouldn't stand for this kind of crap. I still hope that turns out to be the case, but it's not looking good.

The reason why we have ethics laws and prohibitions on foreign emoluments is because the APPEARANCE of corruption puts the the foundation of a rule of law based democracy at risk. The GOPs failure to do any oversight on this has to be seen with those stakes in mind. www.nytimes.com/2025/09/15/u...
