I think it’s high time we take back the national narrative. For centuries Americans of all races, genders, religions, and abilities have worked to create a more perfect union, and we should shout from the rooftops that WE are America. Not these idiot white supremacist authoritarians.

Trump doing everything he can to make sure Republicans don’t lose the midterms. Trump doesn’t wanna get impeached, but he also doesn’t want face any kind of accountability (hearings, or possible impeachment) for the stuff he’s doing right now. It’s like they know that what they’re doing isn’t legit.

Start your morning with two minutes of the testimony of Samuel Garcia, an average American who drove 3 hours to speak truth to power to the Texas legislature. Let’s decide that we are all Samuel Garcia. Get in their faces and make them listen. Mr. Garcia is a great American.

Yep.

Jeff Bezos founded Amazon in 1994, one year *after* Clinton raised taxes on the ultra rich and corporations.

So if there’s *any* causal relationship at all between tax rates and innovation, it’d actually be the other way around — clearly higher taxes lead to more innovation, right?
The idea that Jeff Bezos wouldn't have started Amazon if he didn't think he could have $237 billion suggests he didn't get rich by accident.

It suggests he time travelled from the 90s to this moment of unimaginable income inequality and political donor power.
I know it’s trendy to hate billionaires, but many didn’t get rich by accident.

Jeff Bezos made goods cheaper & quickly accessible. Bill Gates put computers in homes. Sergey Brin gave the world a search engine that works. I could go on.

So yes…they should exist.

Imagine if the media pointed out there was already a Government Accountability Office whose job it is to go after actual waste and fraud, not just things Elon doesn’t like, and found $70 Billion in savings last year and $2 Trillion in waste since 2003.
