This is such a misunderstanding of why writers, artists, and designers do research to begin with, which is to find something unexpected, not capture the average or find reference for the default.

The current reality with most working creatives is we need better browsers and search engines. Even for those who don't use gAI or LLMs, trying to find exactly what we're looking for is constantly being obstructed or misrepresented.

Something I think the internet has done to us is overexpose us to polished art. We were taught everything in the creative process is utterly flawless Gnomon-school art from inkling to finish. But real artists, real collaborators and real studios thrive on fast sketches and off-model explorations.

Its funny that since turning off "smart features" in Gmail, the user experience is just trash. Not bad enough that ill surrender everything to LLM, though.
