A lot of people come into the games industry and pretty soon develop a cynical attitude that the industry is largely run by business guys who don't know a thing about video games. It's only after a few years and some seniority that you realize that those guys don't know shit about business either.

It's nice having time off work, even if I struggle with less structured days. That doesn't mean I need work to structure my life around, I just need time to learn my own cadence. Unfortunately it always feels like I'm just getting into the swing of things when it's time to go back to work...
