Just a girl with too many projects and too little executive function to finish any of them.

I finally picked up Triangle Agency and WOW I am excited to play this game.
Players getting commendations for snitching on each other and identifying that another player should get a demerit is the best flavor win of all time.

We were so proud to print, "That Little Seam by Your Left Ear" by @xtinemakepeace.bsky.social! Her piece is dark, thoughtful, and rich.

If you haven't read Salon Sinister yet, consider this a small taste of what you're missing... Grab your own copy to read this and more amazing queer horror.

I love a day of nerdy convention at Dragonsteel Nexus immediately followed by the local trans meetup. So ideal

This is probably my favorite Rascal article of the entire year. Had to hold back a lot of emotion in the office this morning.
"What do we risk when we play?"

Contributor @seraphimseraphina.bsky.social interrogates the path of her life through a joyfully violent larp that radically reframes safety and risk.
I want to fight my friends in the back of a moving truck
What if some games are too risky to not play?

I haven't been in school for years now, and I guess I can still occasionally get the nightmare that I'm taking a class that I've just forgotten about entirely

Getting Outer Wilds: Design Works by @lostincult.co.uk today has had me obsessing over my favorite video game all over again.

I agree with the foreword that the one flaw of the game is that you can never play it for the first time again, but this book helps.

As of today the count of trans people I know about from my Mormon mission (including myself) is now four. I love hearing about this every time and studies need to be conducted about why these conditions turned us.

This video had a lot of really interesting things, but the one that's gonna stick with me is the reminder that Capitalism will not hesitate to create a facade of a dead person to advertise nostalgic virtues that the real person might not even have really held when living. Big ick
So you made a robot stand up and talk... now what? In this over 4-hour journey, Kevin follows the promise of Disney's Living Character Initiative, an effort to populate Disney theme parks with free-roaming, interactive beings. It was touted as the future. How's it going? Watch here: bit.ly/49C6vng

I genuinely feel like I'll be losing a piece of my soul when this 6 year D&D campaign finally ends

I've been playing the same character through college graduation, buying a house, transition

The last 10 sessions the whole group has been so locked in. I'll never be this fortunate again. Pure magic

Naked authoritarian fascism. Love and support to the entire team at @jimmykimmellive.bsky.social, who *will* come out the other side of this horrendous abuse of power. Disgusted to see ABC caving to this glaringly illegal and unconstitutional threat from Brendan Carr.
Extraordinarily corrupt. I watched FCC chair Brendan Carr's full interview on Hannity. Carr basically said straight out that coverage of Trump he deems overly hostile can be decreed contrary to the "public interest," and thus grounds for yanking licenses:

So many things to gush about in Silksong, but the thing I've been stuck on all day is how clever it is to use prayer beads as the currency.

It's thematically perfect, satisfying to see in the world, and it allows for a great way to preserve currency between deaths by stringing them together.

I've been anxiously awaiting this all summer and it's happening!!

Huge thanks to everyone who put this together and contributed, and I'm so happy to be here for my first published piece of writing. I can't wait to see everyone else's work.
We're nearly there, gang. We're putting the finishing touches on what is turning out to be an *explosive* first issue. More details coming soon, but wow... wow wow wow.

The hype train is at the station. We're on board and we're eating charcuterie in the dining car.

We hope you're prepared... 😈

The right has done this with so many issues. Look at a lot of social issue, like trans rights. It became a huge talking point because of conservatives, not the left. The left merely responded to the attacks.
Yet I see this parroted across the left all the time. Everyone is susceptible
You hear this a lot on the left but it isn't true. USAID did not "fail to tell its story to Americans," the right targeted the agency with lies and misinformation.

Ultimately this narrative turns conservative attacks into even more calls for the left to reform.

I know that the profit incentive is the only thing that Capitalism really cares about, but it was really funny seeing MAGA and No Kings merch right next to each other at a mall kiosk today. Who's buying from that stall when they know so straightforwardly it's working both sides?
