I have always felt that I have one foot in each "camp", but belong to neither the Boomers or the Gen Xers.
“What I most resent about baby boomers is that, technically, I am one.” Bruce Handy writes about being a second-half boomer, and the teen movie that encapsulated his experience: Richard Linklater’s “Dazed and Confused.”
The “Dazed and Confused” Generation
People my age are described as baby boomers, but our experiences call for a different label altogether.

Thank you to all the advocates & veterans who showed up at today’s rally in Hartford. Our vets are under attack & the VA is on the chopping block. America depends on our veterans & I will never stop fighting to ensure our vets get the care, benefits, & respect they deserve.

Great reporting from Ginny Monk. Nearly 1 in 5 CT lawmakers are landlords. I'd like to know how many Housing Committee members are landlords. The conflicts are obvious. Committee members should disclose whether they are landlords. ctmirror.org/2025/04/27/c...
Nearly 1 in 5 CT lawmakers are landlords. Could that affect policy?

"When in doubt, draw a distinction." 🧵

In grad school one of my professors told me that. Some of the best advice I have ever received.

This is a thread about the key distinctions I use in my work.

I had a version of it posted at the other joint, which I revised a bit to make this one.
