It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon in the Bronx and Harlem at our paper shredding events — we cleared out old junk mail, built community, danced, took family portraits and enjoyed frozen treats (it still felt a lot like summer). Thanks to everyone who joined.

After 22 years of working with small businesses, my one piece of advice when someone says they're thinking of starting a business with someone else is.......DON'T. Just do it yourself friend, trust me.

Pritzker put more money into the Wisconsin supreme court race for Dems than anyone, and did it quietly so WI has a fighting chance to keep their democracy. You can be a Newsom sycophant, but you need to do a wee bit more research before you start discounting other Dems actions as ‘just barking’

The Mayor has never been a part of a team in his life, which this statement deeply displays. Maybe 1 tenant couldn’t buy the building, but what about several tenants, acting together? Also, $$ picture gets a lot better when you own an asset you can borrow against. His reasoning is ridiculous.

I shouldn’t be surprised, but as someone who had an office in my neighborhood and had it sold from one out of state landlord to another without any notice, which forced me out due to an immediate rent increase, I can not BELIEVE Frey vetoed a bill that would help local biz owners possibly avoid that

I think he’s just an opportunist. He acted like a progressive and touted his boyfriend at a state convention where it was clear delegates were annoyed with Lori Swanson. Now that he thinks the political winds have changed, he’s a hard nosed tough on crime guy. No one should trust anything he says.
