Call me old fashioned but I kind of think that if you effectively steal a huge amount of intellectual property - creative work that people have done, things they have spent countless hours making - then you lose any moral or even legal authority if people then reappropriate your work.

I can hardly think of a better example of the moral decay in modern health care than a Goldman analyst noting that biotech cures for diseases like hepatitis are cool and all, until their success diminishes the business opportunity for pharmaceutical manufacturers.
