According the the Govt’s new years resolutions, a Treaty Principles Bill based on Act Party interpretation will be underway in the next 100 days. Here’s why it’s a dumb idea. e-tangata.co.nz/comment-and-...

Enhancing the mana of Te Tiriti
There is no need for Act Party's ‘principles’, because there are not two treaties. There is only one – Te Tiriti o Waitangi

People with communal personalities, they care about others, have worse mental health after the pandemic from watching “agentic”, ie, selfish, people behave like toddlers and not give a damn about others and stamp their feet at every simple mitigation.

Wow, incredible research here 🙄🙄🙄

This.

She cared. She’s an actual kind human being who wanted to do right. And we didn’t appreciate it.

Now look!
Christ I miss Jacinda. She may not have been the radical change agent I wanted but at least you always knew she was reading and thinking and a serious person trying to do the right thing for us all. I might have disagreed on what that right thing was but I knew she actually cared.

National voters who claim to somehow care about environment / climate / survivable future stop being full of shit and get National to do 1 fucking actual substantive effective thing about the climate crisis for once instead of blaming the Green Party for not working with them challenge!! *IMPOSSIBLE

Honestly what the actual??

“Hospitals are buying bottled water for doctors to wash hands instead of installing taps, they’ve now stopped to save money”

Can you imagine? No because that would be insanity!!

We need a clean air revolution and we need it yester-fucking-day.

Auckland hospitals were hiring HEPA filters rather than buying them

They've stopped hiring them to save money

Classrooms with HEPA filters see an 82% reduction in respiratory illnesses

Hospitals are not a safe space

This is very interesting! I know three people with covid right now. Two of which have recently started new jobs and have no sick leave, faced with the very difficult choice of going to work while infectious so they can put food on the table/ pay rent/ mortgage or losing a weeks pay.
🚨Here we go.

A precedent-setting case, with huge implications for workplaces worldwide - including Aotearoa.

“An employment section of the Lima High Court court declared COVID-19 as an occupational disease applicable to all types of workers, not just healthcare professionals.”

“Dr Reti would not rule out narrowing access and said it would be up to the caucus.
"That would always be a decision for caucus, and so I'm not going to offer a position here now, but we are mindful in watching what happens with Roe vs Wade."

Values and behaviour lead to policy.
Reti lied about suicide stats during Covid, does not support a woman's right to choose or informed consent, supports the privatisation of health, opposes the MHA and we still have leftish men who think he is a suitable health minister.

An opinion I feel should be universal at this point: All indoor public spaces (but especially schools, workplaces, and medical facilities) should be subject to air quality regulations and continuous monitoring and CO2 and particulate concentration numbers should be accessibly displayed.

So Reti owns shares in the Whangarei private hospital, so directly benefiting from Whangarei public being a mess. It's fine. It's all fine. Ffs
