NEW: Jack Smith seemed in total command of the details of his probes and used his deposition to forcefully rebut claims of weaponization and reiterate his belief that Trump was guilty of historic crimes.

Our 7 takeaways.

If Republicans are so angry about public services fraud, then why don't they look at the Florida Governor's mansion first?

Doesn’t call for a whole lot of math.
His inadequate rage

Tonight’s #FridayLimericks go to Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief Prick. #LimerickRhyme
Steve is Deputy Policy Chief,
To the President felon and thief.
Miller thinks that he’s slick,
But he’s merely a dick
Driving hatred and white privileged grief.

I don’t think mass deportations were ever the goal. Mass incarceration is more like it so the donor class can profit from the prisons they built

Adding to what @reichlinmelnick.bsky.social and I are saying here, even some right wingers are starting to say that Miller is falling well short of his goals. Check out the remarkable quote below. And remember how Miller vowed a major crackdown on liberal groups? Where is it?

Trump and Stephen Miller are actually failing in crucial ways. Deportations are lagging behind their goals, courts are mostly functioning, and their fascist, ethnonationalist cruelties have unleashed a countermobilization of unexpected scope and power.

Miller is causing much suffering, which surely pleases him, but he's falling short

Out of ~60,000 Somalis in Minnesota, 85 (.01%) have been criminally indicted

Out of ~4000 people in the Trump regime, 215 (5.4%) have been criminally indicted.

Thats a ~40X higher crime rate

Not qwhite sure why the people who ignore Trump indictments want you to be upset about Somali indictments🤔
