Do I have any photographers or illustrators following me on here? DM me. It's a time sensitive thing, though.

My dad was a big boxing fan. I didn't pick up much, but two things I did learn from him seem important this weekend:

1. If a guy is running from the fight, and the other guy is in no hurry to catch him - fight's over already.

2. Pimps don't know how to fight. They know how to beat weaker folks up.

This is the cover art I did for NOVA, a manga zine from the 1980's. I was a huge fan of Patalliro, and had the albums, laser disc film, and most of the manga. I don't keep up with it anymore, but I really loved the unique art style.

I know we're not lacking for indicators that shit has gone entirely off the rails, but listicles like "These are the States Where its Legal to Sleep in Your Car." seem especially dystopian.

Imagine actually making Misery, or The Princess Bride.

Imagine the same person making This Is Spinal Tap and A Few Good Men.

Imagine in your whole career making a hit as resonant as Ghosts of Mississippi, or When Harry Met Sally, or Stand By Me. You'd weep if you made just one thing that good.

I’m just going to tell the story. Back in 2000 I was volunteering for the Gore campaign when he came along with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Alfre Woodard and Dule Hill to a GOTV event here in MN. He ended up sitting down across from me stuffing his envelopes.

Shocked by the awful death of Rob Reiner. I spoke with him for over an hour last night. We talked about his work and his plans for the future. I always enjoyed his company. We met at his Dad's in 1975. Last thing he said to me was "See you next year.." Such a terrible end. Such a sweet man.

Rob Reiner was one of the key people behind the effort to go to court to overturn California's anti-marriage equality Proposition 8 when it passed in 2008.

Working with Chad Griffin, they founded the American Foundation for Equal Rights and got Ted Olson and David Boies to team up to fight Prop 8.

Rob Reiner has brought me a great deal of joy, often against my will, which is really saying something.

This is awful. But what he gave us was brilliant and beautiful.

Remembering that comics legend that is JOHN BUSCEMA on what would have been his 98th birthday. I know he worked in so many great Marvel characters but for me he will always been remembered for his stellar run on CONAN! Lucky to have this page of his (inked here by 1 of my fave inkers, Tony DeZuniga)

Ah, so it had nothing to do with coming here the "right" way.
Trump administration abruptly cancels citizenship ceremonies for some immigrants
The ceremony is the final step to becoming a U.S. citizen, a process that takes years to complete.

Seems like men mostly get paired with robots.
Has this pairing ever been flipped? Where a man falls in love with a monster?

This is probably futile, but I thought I'd ask #cat bluesky. I recently brought this lovely lady cat into my home, but today at the vet I found out she's #FIV+, while my other two cats are not. I'm reading up, but I'd still like to hear about anyone's experiences.

All 50,000 panels of the National AIDS Memorial Quilt has been fully digitized.

You can search Duane's name and see the panel he made. And someone else made a panel for him, too.

Among other things, the (nebulous but clearly unconstitutional) attack on naturalized US citizens contained in this screed is a significant escalation.
Trump: “I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries … denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any Foreign National who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization.“

American Movie is my reset button whenever I feel I don't have any drive or passion anymore, Mark Borchardt's singular ambition despite everything (including common sense) telling him to stop is infectious and never fails to set me back on track. Takes place on thanksgiving too so points for that
What movie are you most thankful for? (not necessarily your favorite!)
