At one point today, there were 283 Minnesota attorneys doing a training on how to file emergency habeas petitions to keep our neighbors from being shipped out of state and held indefinitely.
That would be the second largest law firm in the state. And that training was just put together this week.

The Trump administration, under the direction of Kristi Noem, sent armed ICE agents to Princeton Middle & High schools. No advanced notice was given to local law enforcement or school admin. Schools began shelter in place as parents texted photos of passports to students.

There is no national security logic that would impel the US to want to do regime change in Venezuela. It's simply not that important. I'm not even sure wag the dog is the right metaphor for what's happening here. Seems like an insane misallocation of US national security assets and attention.
