Watching This Is Spinal Tap II in the wake of Reiner’s death, there is a strange sense of finality with this film, and its dealing with the thought of the legacy left behind by legends seems fitting as a last movie.

Rob Reiner was a good guy. He made a lot of movies about good guys, in worlds where not everyone was good and you didn’t have to be good. He made movies about people trying. He was angry, as many hopeful people are. He knew the world could be better and he wanted it to be. His death is devastating.

Man, Kurt Feldman absolutely cooked on the Demonschool soundtrack. I would love if it was released either on vinyl or at least just available for streaming.
