one underdiscussed aspect of public transportation vs cars is that when you’re on a train or a bus, it’s somebody’s *job* to get you to your destination responsibly. They are being paid to follow the rules and stick to a schedule. Some asshole who’s late for work does not share that responsibility.

I, for one, do not support the reduction in honking that is currently plaguing NYC. As someone who lives outside the city, the one thing I look forward to every time I visit is getting honked at by a cab and being able to shout, "Hey! I'm walkin' here!" How am I supposed to do that in a quiet city?

One thing that the general public is not that aware of re: Tesla is that *they do not manufacture their own battery cells*

They lease space in their factories for third-parties such as Panasonic.

A lot of people invested in Tesla because they thought Tesla was vertically integrated re: the cells.
