Feels like Stellini vs Newcastle already

Revising my “Spurs are unwatchable” stance, it’s great for everyone else

They give it to the opposition
It’s been a year since Spurs have played a watchable game. This team just doesn’t give you anything.

Not ascribing much to this except man West Ham suck

Schrödinger’s chairman: in the seat, Levy is awful. Now that we can move on, he was great.
Daniel Levy was a great chairman of Tottenham Hotspur

Xavi Simons rules and he should have been Tottenham's primary target from the start. Cannot believe they fell ass backwards into the perfect signing.

Starting to think the guy who dresses like a bundesliga manager but got walloped every week at Southampton and is getting walloped every week at Rangers may not be good

Had to finally release this from my head

This is why I am inherently pessimistic about any forecast that relies on “just make a few signings and then…”
This is exactly like grealish. We think we have a clear runway and fuck around till we fuck it up. Now we get to settle for some useless French child.

This is a good man. A brave warrior. He will go to Valhalla and you should not shame him.

If you don’t contest dunks because you see the poster coming, you die without honor.
Insane poster by Furphy. Welcome to the NBA rookie.

Hiroshima bombs for justice
Trevor Bauer returned from the Japanese minor leagues today, and he immediately surrendered the longest home run in recorded history (594 ft) to Hiroshima’s Elehuris Montero

Logging off for the weekend, but shouting it one more time before I do: they don't believe in America.

@theextrainch.bsky.social general question for the pod. Is it useful to separate discussion of coaches using “young” players vs using *academy* players? Seems like everyone generally agrees on the former but Windy specifically is frustrated about the latter. Club-trained impact and all.

@noscoredraws.com wife joked the unfamiliar package was probably a bomb-little did she know. Strange days as an American Spurs supporter #COYS

@skipjack.bsky.social watching PL channel Bale highlights and they muted the commentary whenever 22 makes the pass. I get it but also don’t make it weird?

When people talk about a set piece coach at Spurs, throw ins come to mind first 🫠

Of course they don’t have a replacement lined up. It was never Postecoglou vs. Frank, it was always Postecoglou vs. the club’s ability to be a high functioning organization. I will never understand how people miss this.

Bad decision made late. Add a coach and a center back at minimum to your long list of needs.
