The fix for large studios canceling AAA games about killing the Klan or Apple pulling a show about hunting white supremacists is to buy that stuff from people who actually get to make their own creative decisions. Even if this doesn’t change stupid exec behavior, you have bought a better thing.

It’s definitely very stupid, buuuut I think “slur” is even kind of an offensive thing to call it? AFAIK people are complaining about terms lifted directly from Star Wars or BSG, used in analogous contexts. I don’t think it’s effective or a good look, but it’s just not real world bullshit

I haven’t seen this, but I’m guessing it’s in reaction to people claiming hating AI is tantamount to racism…and I do think those people should be dunked on as hard as possible, even allowing for some missteps

While the takeaway in all of this should really be “Spend less time on the internet reading things ridiculous people say,” the boiled-down idea of “Female brains are real…and they’re autistic” is genuinely amusing to me

This really isn’t a thing, and the people who want you to believe there are “female brains” (which no decent study supports) also want you to believe “women” are mostly good for making babies, which is one of the reasons they hate trans people
