As someone who is concurrently an NFL fan and an avid hater of the American fascist dictator, the fact that he’s sticking his grubby nose into the league in general puts such a sour taste in my mouth. For those of us disgusted by current events, it feels like we can have nothing he doesn’t ruin.

The only possible bright spot I can pluck from this is that whomever does emerge as the next voice and face of the opposition party, and when elected, theoretically can say fuck it and just instantly wipe the student debt out. Why not? Rules were tossed before day 1 by the Trump regime. Cancel it.
The reason billionaires like McMahon are obsessed with student debt is that creating financial precarity makes people more stressed about losing their job. If you’re worried about your job you’re less likely to quit and find work elsewhere. You’re less likely to ask for a raise. It’s pure class war.
