It wasn't until I moved back to the city from the 'burbs that I realized exactly how starved most 'burbs are for culture - art galleries, museums, neighbourhood events.

Personally, I'd rather a smaller space in a vibrant community than a mansion in a cultural desert.

I'm sorry that 24 yr-old Sam Foster lost the Marietta mayoral race but it's honestly encouraging that he only lost by 87 votes!! Foster campaigned on affordable housing, reliable buses, bike infrastructure & walkable, mixed-use neighborhoods. 🙏 Bless you

A French cyclist survived for three days after a horrendous 130-foot fall into a ravine, kept alive by the bottles of red wine he had in his shopping bag, police said.

I voted at the same location about ten minutes before polls closed 10/30.

The ballot count on one of the two machines was around 2300 just for that day.

I'm excited to see turnout results
This makes me so happy. 🥰
In case you were curious if Atlanta is fired up, we just waited in line for 20 minutes to early vote in an election with zero federal or state-level contests on the ballot (other than the VERY important PSC race!).

No, we aren't judging political candidates by their singing voices. But what better way to blow off steam in a busy campaign season -- and get to know future leaders better -- than by some enthusiastic, off-key belting in a relaxed setting?

That's the idea behind Karaoke With Candidates.
