If Russia can't participate in international sports, why can the US?

Ban them, and move the World Cup to Canada/Mexico.

We are fed this ridiculous lie that the problems in Venezuela come from Venezuela.

No, they come from the USA.

Not commenting on Venezuela is one thing, but Starmer's ministers not even being willing to say "no of course the US shouldn't invade a peaceful sovereign democratic NATO country, which is one of our closest allies" is quite another.

Five days into the Government's 'strong start to January.' Day 1 blame the voters. Day 2, blame the civil service. Days 3-5, ignore international law.

Voters & civil service didn't make a Labour government cut winter fuel payments & refuse a wealth tax.

I guarantee that Green Party leader Zack Polanski speaks for a hell of a lot more Brits than Starmer does when it comes to Donald Trump's shopping list of invasions and brutality.
Darren Jones saying repeatedly the Labour Government won't comment on a hypothetical.

It's not hypothetical - Trump is saying very loudly repeatedly what he's done and boasting about it.

And yet the UK Government won't even say it's a breach of international rules. Shameful.

Rubbish - just words from you and your Labour government.

If and when Trump acts - only thing your Prime Minister and party will say…”we need to see the facts”

Labour is finish!!!

Our friends in Denmark should know we stand shoulder to shoulder with them.

Greenland is not for sale, invasion or questioning and neither is NATO. This world needs more alliances, not more aggression, to keep it safe and democratic.

This leaves me wondering how many other countries are on Trump's "to invade" list for 2026, and whether the UK government will oppose any of them.

Tonight, the President of the United States has launched an unconstitutional war of aggression, dooming another generation to spill their blood for oil, and lay waste to a sovereign nation.

I demand that Congress exercise its power, halt this conflict, and impeach this war criminal president.

When a rich person earns millions you don't want them to try earn more money.

Because they don't earn more money by working, they earn it by underpaying workers and ripping off customers.

If taxing them raises money, increases wages and lowers prices.

It's a win, win, win.

We need to be *very clear* that all poverty is a policy choice enforced by the very richest.

The aristocracy in the UK.
The oligarchy in most of Europe.
The billionaire class elsewhere.

The whole nonsense about “self responsibility”, work hard, meritocracy… all created to reinforce that.
Poverty is a policy choice. Concentrated wealth is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. None of it is natural or inevitable. Remember: We have the power to build a system that serves the many, not the powerful few.

We cannot allow that.

We must stand with the hunger strikers and immediate bail for the remand prisoners — now.
