I don’t have a whole lot of advice for people younger than me but the earlier in life you stop worrying about what other people will think and just wholeheartedly enjoy the stuff you like the happier you’ll be

Considering how sugary and fatty groceries are in the US as a rule, plus the difficulty+cost of fresh fruit and vegetables, plus the lack of locally owned joints that can compete with chain store prices, it became easier for me to understand how fast food has thrived in the US when I lived there.
Thinking about the social stigma against eating fast food in a country where poor people are being starved by the govt, the cost of groceries and fresh vegetables are astronomical, and a cheeseburger at McDonald’s costs $3.50.
