The worst question I've seen when querying is "why are you the person to write this" and it's like, because I'm writing the story I want to read. Why else would I torture myself with the process of writing and editing and feeling like I'm slowly going crazy for what will assuredly not make me money?

I've been in Missouri for less than a week visiting family and I'm already picking up an ascent. Y'all I didn't even grow up in the south they're my inlaws.

I had a dream last night in which I was at a doctor's office and somehow we started talking about trrpgs and it ended with me running a game for a doctor a nurse and a tech for like 2 hours before they had to go back to dealing with patients. They were like "same time next week?" And I woke up.

When writing my a fight scene nothing is more convenient than having swords lying around the house and a person to help choreograph.
