Damage has also been done to Centers for Disease Control. This is absolutely chilling and we can and will fight for these institutions but the damage done now is HORRIBLE.
Unthinkable damage to one of the world’s best science institutions 🫠😢. Just insane because it was so unnecessary and done with no thought or plan. Awful for everyone in science but heartbreaking for those who were just fired for no cause.

Yep - as a conservative, she felt the line had been crossed today by acting AG Emil Bove. That is what is so notable about her resignation.
Extraordinary development: Danielle Sassoon, a former law clerk to Justice Scalia, member of the federalist society and legal superstar, quit a dream job as acting head of SDNY U.S. attorneys office rather than do Trump’s bidding and drop criminal charges against the NYC Mayor.
