The EHRC are now delaying the internal review, citing a 20-day extension without giving any lawful justification. Reviews should conclude in 20 working days, extended only in exceptional cases. No reason was given.

The EHRC has just refused to answer all 9 of our active FOI requests, using Section 14(1) of the FOI Act. They claim we’re overloading them, despite our requests being public interest and properly targeted.

The Government's concessions completely ignore the thousands of Disabled people on Universal Credit with LCWRA.
They are still proposing this be slashed from £416 to just over £200.
This bill cannot be salvaged by concessions - it must be scrapped.

It's not even just that they're banning trans healthcare, they're banning public funding for any therapy at all for trans people where they "affirm social transition", aka they use your name and pronouns and acknowledge the reality of how you move through the world. No support at all.
Ohio just passed it's budget that bans funding for MENTAL HEALTH therapy for all trans people in medicaid.

Exactly right. The JPAC decision notice they've based this off states to use female ranges; but for a trans man stable on HRT, this could allow them to donate at levels below safe limits.

To summarise: This is more or less a stealth ban on trans women donating blood in the UK, as they won't meet the male requirements. I suspect this is unintentional, with no malice intended.

Dachau opened in March 1933 as a concentration camp for political prisoners. It didn't become an extermination camp until much later. The lesson is that this starts slowly until the atrocities are inevitable. We're on that march now.

I just voted against proscribing Palestine Action, a civil disobedience group, as a terrorist organisation. But I'm furious that in doing so, the government forced me and others to vote against proscribing two other clearly terrorist groups. Cynical and dangerous from govt.
