Just a thought: How about we nix Presidents’ Day and make Election Day a national holiday instead?

JFC, cut that shit in half and you’ve eradicated hunger, provided healthcare for all and made education free for all Americans. What the fuck are we doing?

That day will likely come, and we better have more than pitchforks.
How are Americans not in the streets with pitchforks

BREAKING: Donald Trump has reportedly been fuming all weekend over how everyone keeps calling his administration the “Epstein Administration.”
February 15, 2026 at 11:28 PM
Of all of the Worst things trump has done so far, this is in the top 3. Lawyer up and beat that stupid MF to the ground.
Today, the Trump administration repealed the endangerment finding: the ruling that served as the basis for limits on tailpipe emissions and power plant rules. Without it, we’ll be less safe, less healthy and less able to fight climate change—all so the fossil fuel industry can make even more money.

It's almost enough to make you think we can keep going for another 3 years.
This week was a good reminder that Trump can be beaten back. A grand jury rejected charges against Democratic lawmakers, immigration operations in Minnesota were scaled back, and the Pride flag went back up at Stonewall. With Trump’s approval slipping, there is real reason for optimism.
Our Wins Of The Week
Donald Trump’s attempts at diving us headlong into autocracy is being met with constant resistance from all sides.

From The Guardian: “In 2023, the Maya peoples played a key role in the unlikely presidential election victory of a former diplomat named Bernardo Arévalo. The campaign to protect the vote against a corrupt judiciary was led by Indigenous groups and included 106 days of nationwide protests.”

The most demented administration in American history and it's view of justice was on display today. I blame the elected enablers on this committee and in Congress for allowing this.

The enablers on this committee today should consider their jobs at risk in the upcoming election.

You can joke about Pam Bondi’s ridiculous unprofessionalism all you want, but I’m deeply shocked by it: She acts as if she fears absolutely no consequences, convinced that there will be no more political power transfers. — This should shake everyone to their core.

Better damn hope so.
It doesn’t matter what they plan to do. They do not have the power they are trying to project. Do not let them bully you psychologically into accepting their premises.

If only ....
If only the entire Democratic Party spoke every single day the way Jamie Raskin is speaking to Pam Bondi right now.

The kool-aid runs cold in her veins.
And she will be just as disgustingly belligerent as she has been in past hearings. She is arguably one the most vile members of this Administration. The way she sneers at Committee members, and her tone when speaking reeks of viciousness.

Mitch McConnell has been hospitalized.

Thoughts and prayers to the architect of the hell we are in right now.

See, resistance is NOT futile! 🔊💪🗽
"ICE guys are pretty miserable. I don’t think morale is particularly high for them. They’re freezing, they’re getting shouted at. They can’t go anywhere without being tailed by 5 cars. They get out and immediately there's a crowd of 100 people shouting at them, blowing whistles as loud as they can."
Inside the resistance with Will Stancil
"It's something I could do to keep them from stealing my neighbors."

... And so does truth.
If Jeff Bezos could afford to spend $75 million on the Melania movie & $500 million for a yacht to sail off to his $55 million wedding to give his wife a $5 million ring, please don't tell me he needed to fire one-third of the Washington Post staff.

Democracy dies in oligarchy.
