Heads are going to explode 💥

Cato Institute just nuked the lie. Immigrants have cut U.S. deficits by $14.5 TRILLION since 1994, slashing the national debt by a third.

All that “immigrants are bleeding us dry” noise? Absolute bullshit.

Trump wants to change voting. His ICE are making cities dangerous. The economy is bad. We've lost myriad allies. He's redesigning the WH in and out. He's ripped history out of D.C.'s museums. He's fired countless workers. He's joined at Putin's hip. I could go on, but I think there's a point.

Floored by this story. A man wrote a pollite email to a federal prosecutor objecting to the deportation of an Afghan seeking asylum. DHS responded with an administrative warrant to get the man's info from Google, then visited his home to intimidate him.

Let's get real. The constitution already prohibits warrantless search and seizure, protects free assembly, etc. Judges orders are being ignored daily. Passing another law they plan to ignore (Epstein files anyone?) just feels like legitimatizing the foundational endeavor.
Here's Senator Chris Murphy's extended discussion of this group of restrictions on ICE:

We can’t be doing “government as usual” while a federal goon squad is gunning down Americans in American cities. Congress!! What are you doing? Either stand up NOW for the constitution or resign!! This is a constitutional crisis. Show us you understand that.

Trump has removed less people from the U.S. this last year than he averaged per year in his first term.
Between Jan 25—Jan 26, the Trump administration has removed 230,000. In his first term he averaged 275,725.

But that is nothing compared to Barack Obama who averaged

Basketball players have more integrity than 54 senators.
The National Basketball Players Association releases a statement following the Trump regime’s murders of Alex Pretti and Renee Good, saying that NBA players “can no longer remain silent.”

The NBPA is standing up for free speech, civil liberties, and the people of Minnesota demanding justice.

Borrowed that move from Reagan.
I can only hope that when Trump is no longer in office and the day of reckoning has come, that SCOTUS won't consider immunity for this criminal conduct committed while in office.
