I find this common right-wing critique of protest movements, where they emphasise how "organised" they are, so weird. Seems to rest on an understanding that protests can only be valid if they're a spontaneous outpouring of emotion and not if they have any actual goals
James O'Keefe says he's never seen anything so organized as the anti-ICE movement, observers--he seems to think this term is code--everywhere he goes. Who is paying for it??? he demands to know. It's like he can't even imagine people caring for one another.

I only had one interaction with Scott Adams, he sent me some advice on comic strips when I was 19, before Life With Kurami was to be published in newspapers the following year.
It was wise advice, still is. It's unfortunate what his legacy has become.

He would have these videos of him drawing and talking about his process on the Dilbert comic strip which were fun watches because it was a rarity to see a syndicated cartoonist give a look at their work like that.
It stinks the way he went out, but I'm sad that things could have been different.

The final issue of GAME FREAK zine from 2004, produced by the company that had started off life as an arcade game tips zine in the early 80s, to commemorate 15 years since the founding of the company.
The previous issue had been released in 1999 following a 12-year gap as they focused on game dev.
