Something I wish people could get their heads around is that the statistic of "most abusers are also victims" is not the same thing as "most victims become abusers." The former might be true, but the latter is not. It's just another way of demonising survivors and I see it so often.

Mon vieil ami Vlanx est décédé hier, il a mit fin à ses jours à cause de l'enfer de cette maladie inconnue.
Comme moi, il avait une peur existentielle de la mort et de la cessation de conscience ; c'est dire à quel point sa vie était devenue une souffrance pour lui.

We need to spend way more on adaptation to climate change. None of us can predict the future, but it’s 100% certain that the climate we have today is the best any of us will ever experience. As we continue to emit CO₂, the world will become more dangerous and chaotic. We have to prepare for that.

Multiple people have become sick and hospitalized on flights landing in Boston. We need to await more information to fully understand what's happening here, but your regular reminder that one of the most important times to wear a mask is when you are traveling.
