Well £90 in Tesco, £98 in Boots. Which is obscene given I and other clinically vulnerable people should have been included in the NHS programme this year. It's not like I just have that amount going spare.

I had to pay for mine this year, despite qualifying for the flu vaccine as part of the clinically vulnerable group. Tesco's in store pharmacies have it for sale, as does Boots.

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your email. I am pleased to be able to confirm that the new Labour government is committed to strengthening our public health response and reducing health inequalities. Labour's recent commitments and statements have made clear that the principle of universal and fair access to vaccines particularly for those who are medically at-risk must be central to our national strategy. In Parliament, Labour MPs have called for a rapid review of JCVI eligibility criteria and for the reinstatement of free Covid-19 vaccination for all Clinically Vulnerable people, in line with the existing approach to NHS flu vaccinations. Many have highlighted, as you do, that the logic and evidence for including all at-risk groups in annual booster rollouts are overwhelming, given the ongoing pandemic context and emergence of new variants. Our party's manifesto commits to taking advice from clinicians and scientists and to working closely with NHS England to ensure that support for the most vulnerable is not withdrawn on cost grounds especially when this may lead to greater suffering and increased NHS pressure. There is widespread concern across Parliament about the risk of deepening health inequality and placing the cost burden of essential preventative care onto those least able to shoulder it. My plan for this place was to slowly furnish it with better quality wooden furniture as time and money permitted. Fortunately the things I think look good and are good quality seem to be out of fashion, so ebay is my friend as it is yours :-)

I sold most of my furniture as part of the sale of my previous house. The low ball-offer buyer went up in £1k increments as he added things like my bed, dining table, sofa etc. to the deal. I was fine with this as they were mostly worn out and prefered to replace them anyway.

When I was in Helsinki an elderly lady attempted to engage me in conversation at a tram stop. I apologised in English for not speaking Finnish, she switched to perfect English and asked me what I thought of the Finnish language. I said it sounded lyrical, as if she was singing. This delighted her.
