I don’t want to take anything away from OKC’s defense, which is fast, disruptive and smart as hell. But it’s kind of remarkable how much contact that affords them from officials. Two totally different standards on each end of the floor.

For the second time in two Sundays the Nuggets are going toe to toe with one of the three best teams in the league on the road without Aaron Gordon. Many will look at the final results, but the process here is saying a lot about how great Denver still can be.

Donald Trump is scrubbing critical health information from government websites.

This is staggeringly stupid, anti-science, and will have real consequences.

Mexico is Texas' largest trading partner.

Trump's 25% tariffs aren't just going to raise prices - they're going to put Texans out of business.

Many Texas truck operators, warehousing companies, car dealers, and more won't survive this tax hike.

The FTC under Lina Khan:

-Stopped anticompetitive mergers
-Cracked down on junk fees
-Challenged Big Pharma price-gouging
-Stood up to monopolies like Amazon
-Protected farmers' right to repair

She's been an avid antitrust enforcer and defender of working people.
Today, Lina Khan departs the Federal Trade Commission.

It’s been quite a ride—one that has given Americans a taste of what true public-interest governance can look like.

From rules that answered our everyday frustrations to historic trust-busting, here are some of the highlights.👇🧵

Let me say this clearly. The tariffs are a money grab. Less money in the hands of the American people due to the new 25% tax on goods. More money to distribute to his cronies in the form of tax cuts.

See how it works?

My first and definitely last time working with the Los Angeles Times. Editing out the most urgent point of an OpEd in the minutes before sending to press while then also assigning a title and image that suggest an argument entirely opposite to the author’s clear intent is pretty shitty.

Reminder: Tariffs aren't paid by other countries.

They're eventually paid by us at the check out line.

The tariffs Trump is unleashing tomorrow on Mexico, Canada, and China — our biggest trading partners — are estimated to cost households an extra $1,250 annually.

Donold is blaming a plane crash that killed 67 people on “DEI” with zero evidence.

He is attempting to use racism to deflect from the fact it is HIS fault. He had just removed 100 FAA senior officials.

It’s been 11 days and there are 67 bodies in the Potomac in Washington DC because of him.

We did not have a FAA administrator to respond to the tragic crash last night in DC. Why? Because Elon Musk pushed the head appointed under Biden to resign after he fined SpaceX for failing to follow safety license requirements. www.theverge.com/news/603113/...

To recap, Trump:

-Forced out the FAA chief at Musk's insistence
-Imposed a hiring freeze that reportedly included air traffic controllers
-Fired the TSA head and gutted a key aviation safety committee
-Blamed the DCA crash on DEI

This is disastrous leadership.
