It implies none of us are average people who just want to support rights for trans people; people like me who can't organise their way out of a paper bag but can turn up to a protest. Case in point, Azazel Jacobs’s HIS THREE DAUGHTERS which was shot, and had a small release on, 35mm and it looks great!

There's a lot of folks I follow who are editors or physical media producers whose job involves commissioning film critics every single day. You have the power to hire trans critics, of whom there are many; and remember, trans critics can also write/talk about things that aren't related to transness!
A lot of chatter about trans bathroom bills on ~this day~ but no one writing about Susan Stryker's radical reimagining of bathrooms, disability access, the North Carolina bills + their failure to pass masture less than a decade ago. Go read a book. Go buy a trans person food. Go hire someone trans.

There are currently only 22 films streaming on Netflix made before 1980 and not a single one made before 1960, with the oldest film on the platform currently being PSYCHO. I know I’m a broken record but: buy physical media, support your local library, etc etc
