So now both Trump's lawyers and Eric Adams are citing President Biden's pardon of his son as justification for ending those cases.

This. A prevention focus is the right step. But expecting RFK Jr. to do it well is like letting the fox change the locks on the hen house.
He might do a good job, but he'll have the only key--and you'll wake up four years from now to discover all your chickens have died from preventable diseases.

For the record, it is not a terrible idea to switch the incentives in The US Medical System towards prevention. The problem is I don't trust anyone in The Trump Administration to be able to do this without cutting something essential.
