On to the last two episodes of Station Eleven. I think this show's lost me tbh. It's 10 episodes and I only have 2 left, otherwise I would have bailed.
It's fine, but trying to flesh out a huge cast in a limited series is hard, and it feels like lots of building, but nothing is actually happening.

On to the last two episodes of Station Eleven. I think this show's lost me tbh. It's 10 episodes and I only have 2 left, otherwise I would have bailed.
It's fine, but trying to flesh out a huge cast in a limited series is hard, and it feels like lots of building, but nothing is actually happening.

I saw Saga at the library and figured why not do a reread? I only read up to the hiatus originally. I got 1-6 from the library, and can get the rest digitally, and I put in a suggestion for the library to get 7-12. Anyway, lots of options

I finished reading this the other day. I can't get enough of Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips. Beautiful and gritty as always. So many of their works read like a series of True Detective

I finished reading Radio Free Albemuth last night. From what I can gather, this is a novelisation of the film that is a backdrop to another of his novels, VALIS. And like most PKD books, it reads like a paranoid schizophrenic's fever dream.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

The first episode of Station 11 was very good. They managed to introduce a large cast, spread across different locations and times, without it feeling shallow or rushed. I feel like I've got a good grounding and a healthy number of questions going into episode 2
