Alright, new social media, new pin post. Hi, I'm Urthdigger. I'm queer, a furry, and a writer. Also a gamer but I mean who isn't these days. These days I'm mostly playing FFXIV and Pathfinder, streaming other games on Sundays and Wednesdays, and writing game reviews.

We frequently show dwarves with steampunk, but they’d absolutely be the types to find the essence of an ancient beast, refine it into explosives, and figure a way to use a foot pedal to control how much explosive power is needed to make a machine move.

Reminder that early Fortnite stole dance choreography from people of color and only responded when they were publicly called out or sued. That team has been telling the world who they are pretty consistently for a long time. We need to listen.

SO... I'm pretty much done with Fortnite. There were statements made by Tim Sweeney saying that AI usage doesn't need to be disclosed, and then AI usage was found all over this current season- from art to sprays to in-game songs. Between that, and the upcoming shitty wizard collab... Yeah, I'm done.

Private capital tends to become concentrated in few hands, partly because of competition among the capitalists, and partly because technological development and the increasing division of labor encourage the formation of larger units of production at the expense of smaller ones. The result of these developments is an oligarchy of private capital, the enormous power of which cannot be effectively checked even by a democratically organized political society. This is true since the members of legislative bodies are selected by political parties, largely financed or otherwise influenced by private capitalists who, for all practical purposes, separate the electorate from the legislature. The consequence is that the representatives of the people do not in fact sufficiently protect the interests of the underprivileged sections of the population.
