The most fundamental political debate of our time: You are integrated into and have responsibility for our complex, imperfect society vs. Nuh-uh.

Fools haters: In Hades 2 you need to push buttons other than attack

Have you considered becoming a DPS perpetual motion machine instead.

this discourse has never felt more disconnected from reality where you can live "in" a lot of american cities with neighborhoods that are built around car dependent single family homes but still have ready access to the cultural amenities of urban life

Like what's the rule for me saying JK Rowling supports Nazis and pedophiles, allowed or not?

This seems worse? Like you should be able to say a person sucks without having the legal system jump on your ass.

Well that will teach me get my hopes u (reached the end of a job application process, got an email from recruiter for an"update" and assumed it probably meant good news and crashed out harder than expected when it was the opposite)

this is making no revenue so maybe we can share some of that revenue with conglomerates who want to see their IP depicted curb stomping a guy in a sombrero?

i think we are going to find out at some point these guys invented cocaine 2 and have been on it all along
Buried in Altman's post is the real story: "People are generating much more than we expected per user," using massive compute resources on content that's often being generated for very small audiences (it is, after all, a social media app). OpenAl will "have to somehow make money for video generation," Altman wrote. Translation: Sora is burning through compute costs with no offsetting revenue.
Altman floated a potential solution: "We are going to try sharing some of this revenue with rightsholders who want their characters generated by users." The idea-perhaps similar to You Tube's ad-monetization program for videos that include copyrighted material
-would give studios a financial incentive to opt in.
"The exact model will take some trial and error to figure out," Altman acknowledged, "but we plan to start very soon."

"Sorry your offended" shirts are probably the biggest wimp shit out there. Nothing more chicken shit than getting huffy at the very concept of people being upset with you.
