I cried when Terry Pratchett died. #Discworld was such a big, wonderful part of my childhood.
I didn't know there were Discworld miniatures

That’s what I keep telling the doctors when they ask me about pain. It’s not the same scale for me as someone with no disabilities.
When you have a chronic illness, you eventually find that a single-dimensional pain scale is worthless.

Now for some very different games. #AnimalCrossing, which I started with Wild World. I have way too many screenshots from New Horizons, heh. I’m still surprised when I see Wild World screenshots these days. I remember the game as so beautiful. I think they had character.

Now, my first #Pokemon game was Sapphire, Ruby and Emerald. Used to play at the physical therapist’s, while on the exercise bike. At one point I actually got a shiny Treecko while on that bike.
Later on I played Fire Red..

I was always a #Sierra girl growing up. #KingsQuest especially. I didn’t really get into #LucasArts games until a friend of my father lent me #DayOfTheTentacle, which also got me into #ManiacMansion.
Later on an Italian friend sent me a copy of #MonkeyIsland 1 and 2, which I love and still replay

nothing I hate more (in this specific moment) than the slow death of the text walkthrough, I don't want to stutter through some dumbass video with 8,000 ads to figure out where the golden secrets are in Fuckshit 2024. I just need a picture and a small paragraph, please god.

It’s a personal favorite, with some really good mood setting and fun. I’d love to see what creative minds could do to some of the confusing puzzles and bits.

How can I forget Conquest of the Longbow? Another #Sierra game I played dozens of times growing up. I actually wanted to work for Sierra when I grew up. That game is at least partially responsible for how much I loved Robin Hood growing up.

When I was a kid I used to borrow twenty books at a time from my local library and read them all in a weekend.
Unfortunately I don’t have room for all my Kindle books as physical books, seven thousand books is a bit much for my flat. It may even be a bit much for my Kindle
