A noncanonical role for dynein in controlling microtubule growth in mitosis, as shown previously in interphase. More here: www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1... Dynein synergises with EB1 to facilitate cortex-microtubule encounter and proper spindle positioning in metaphase. Thanks to the funder @ukri.org
