Sorry: One important thing abt Trump claiming he is pondering revoking her citizenship is that she made a moral critique of the way his policies led to the deaths of children and his RESPONSE was an attempt to lord power over her.
The important thing about Trump’s pondering revoking somebody’s citizenship is that he can’t do this and it is yet another sign of his dictatorial instincts, not that it is “reigniting [a] decades-long feud.”

this is exactly right. the goal of youngkin and his board of visitors is to rewind the clock back to when UVA was a school for unexceptional children of the state’s conservative elites. even expanding UVA to serve all of the state’s talented students, regardless of background, is too much.

I spent some time reading Elon’s tweets this morning (one of my least favorite activities) and it’s hard to overstate how much he and his allies have constructed an alternate reality for their audience to believe in. In their world, Elon is a superhero fighting government fraud, like fanfiction
