it is a sincerely held belief of mine that i do not believe that one's gender or sexuality automatically gives special inherent insight on writing women, just that barriers to these exist in degrees, and this is a skill that must be cultivated against the grain of ambient misogyny everywhere

we basically have to take a sledgehammer to cisness & the whole concept of binary sex on the path to sex as a whole if we ever want a unification of feminist and queer politics that can liberate all women & lgbtq people. the bare minimum here is mainstreaming the idea that bodies exist in continuity

barring the historical relevance of terms, every feminism that takes the sexed body and heterosexuality for granted as-given is a liberal feminism to me tbh. i mean as well in the sense that its end state can only be representational as citizen subjects through legalistic reforms. e.g. the UK rn!
