Newspaper columnists should be forced to update their photo every year. It's jarring seeing a columnist whose work you're familiar with appearing on a tv show and it looks like their face has shrivelled overnight because you've been seeing a photo from 10 years ago.

Wicken Fen has become the first UK nature reserve to record an incredible 10,000 species. A moth that imitates a wasp was the 10,000th species to be recorded. This work is possible thanks to a major grant from The Nature Recovery Project.

This venue in Margate is so proud of their food hygiene rating they've got it on an A board in the street. That's quite extreme. Possibly they protest too much - makes you wonder what it was rated before.
