I think I might buy a Polaroid camera this year.
I had a few fitness goals this year. One was to ride 5000km, and I did. Mostly gravel.
One of the others was to do 1 (one) deadlift at 400lbs and I did that tonight.
Meaningless numbers, but it was fun to do them anyway.

Baratza’s customer service is so good. They’re preparing a new burr holder for me because the plastic in the carrier broke (might have hit a small pebble or something? Unclear) and they updated one of the parts. Asked for some pictures and the behaviour I was noticing and that was it. Lovely.

Because I have a 4-day work week today is my Friday night and it’s amazing. I don’t feel that accumulation of fatigue I got from a 5-day work week. The weekend never feels that far away and I’m excited for Monday, honestly.

I have once again bad-mathed my way into a personal best. I stood with a calculator and added up what I needed 4 times and still got it wrong.
Anyway, I deadlifted 8x330 (instead of the 320 I’d intended).

Welp, I guess I better get my act together so I'm ready to donate for the next deadline. It's so much nicer to see candidates that believe in the party message so much they're willing to help each other make it past fundraising barriers. Only one can win, obviously, but it bodes well for the party.
