The man who ran on a platform of "America First" and promised no involvement in foreign wars is now launching wars of choice in Nigeria, Venezuela, Syria, and Lebanon.

Meanwhile, he is verbally attacking our oldest and closest allies.

I’m guessing the @washingtonpost.com ad for Amazon ‘healthcare’ thinly disguised as a screed against the UK’s NHS - by the “editorial board” - isn’t winning it any friends or influencing any people (written by AI??). And cheap: using a photo it already owns instead of commissioning an illustration.

Yeah, we're gonna count you as "in" on that, David Brooks and @nytimes.com. we should have read that column as the confession it was.

How is this man still employed by the @nytimes.com ?? Not for being in the photos (necessarily--but that too) but for not revealing his huge conflict of interest and violation of journalistic ethics. Jeez! #davidbrooks

It is insane that this is not a bigger “story.” We have to pay attention to ALL of the atrocities. They all matter.
The Trump Administration is detaining U.S. citizens for days without due process or a phone call—only to release them with no charges.

This is illegal and immoral.

Data centres are energy hungry but what if we could use their waste heat to heat our homes?

That's exactly what happens in places like Finland: Cities are tapping the vast amounts of waste heat generated by data centres, and feeding it into district-heating networks.

Cato Institute and Bezos @wasingtonpost.bsky.social: “don’t whine about food prices y’all! In the past two years, wages increased 8.1% compared with a 4% rise for food.” But… the overall cost of living rose much more. Housing is 15% higher than 2022. That makes food prices a daily hit to the face.

Since the White House and the Hagfish are whining about Dems reminding the military of their duty to disobey illegal orders, this “distancing” won’t go so well for them in the long run. Anyway whatever happened to “the buck stops here”? Trump is definitely no Truman.
