An artist friend got ripped apart on Twitter for daring to say that $4k for 80 full-rights illustrations was too low. $50 per. It was a Tarot deck due in one year. That's 1 illustration completed every 4.5 days non stop for a year straight.
My first thought was "I wouldn't even do that job for $40k"
