My claim to fame ..I went to the same high school as Kyle.

I never met him .. He graduated a couple years before me.

But I did see Dune in Yakima! He wasn't there either.

I visited Twin Peaks .. or Snoqualmie Falls/North Bend. He wasn't there either.

WHY haven't I ever got to meet you!?!?!

Visions of a Spice Opera.

📺: Dune, Cryo Interactive, 1992
A crt screenie of a towering defence turret shown in profile against a gradient purple sky. A shot of Cryo's vision of a subterranean Fremen sietch with stairs spiralling around brown rocky pillars. Cryo's version of Paul Atreides (very much inspired by the 1984 movie's Kyle Mac Lachlan) seen from the front and head and shoulders perspective against dune sands and gradient blue sky A pool of subterranean water, gathered by windtraps on the surface

Ugh, I'm trying to edit a video while feeling slightly trashy. I got my COVID-19 and Flu shots yesterday, and I think they are catching up with me.

A little hurt now is 100000x better than getting full blown versions of either later.

Time to make some spicy ramen! That always helps!

I'm an old fart .. but I remember the first game I purchased and played on the Commodore 64 was Jumpman! It wasn't even when I first purchased my C64 .. about a month later when I purchased my 1541 drive.

Do you remember the first game you ever played on the C64?

ZORK ... Zork II to be exact .. it was the first game I ever played .. in a college campus class room, when I was supposed to be programming in BASIC .. on an Apple IIe.

A most awesome computer!

I remember my A500 .. sat on TOP of these expansion case in which I could place two A2000 cards. One was 2MB of memory, the other was a SCSI controller with a 30MB hard drive!

That decade, from 5.25 floppies to 3.5" then to a 5.25 hard drive in a span of 5 years.

A minor update to my roguelike - you can now bask in the glow of the dungeon entrance. (but you can't leave, there are ogres outside)
A screenshot of an ascii-graphics roguelike. The adventurer stands in a shaft of light cast by the dungeon entrance - a yellow triangle.

Going through someone's old saves on our copy of Buck Rogers for Mega Drive and came across these champs, stars of a Red Dwarf-alike space comedy.

Loving the father and son Al duo.

"Awright, geezer. Lemme have a shufti at the wotsit, atomic motor; I'mma dabhand at this."
A party of BBC comedy stalwarts; Dave, Fat Lagger, Panty Hose, Dabhand, Big Al, and Al Jnr
