Some people are getting through to Hochul's office. Keep trying and tell her to remove Eric Adams right now. We can't have a Trump puppet as mayor of New York City.

It is literally impossible to tell if someone is trolling about Congestion Relief because the people who are serious are the most absurd.

Literally every single person in this administration is corrupt as hell.
this story strongly hints that ingrid lewis-martin is being investigated for taking bribes to stop the mcguinness blvd bike lane. would check out: DOT reverse a decision to use a scaled back redesign just days after ILM had her phone seized.
Breaking News: New York City Mayor Eric Adams’s chief adviser could be indicted this week on corruption charges, people familiar with the matter said.

Two major lines suspended and @mtainfo.bsky.social doesn’t make any announcements in the station that is connected to Penn Station? Either that or the announcement system is broken? These are basic things that you shouldn’t fail at.

I have not been gone from KC for long, but wow have the drivers gotten way worse in that short amount of time. I thought NYC drivers couldn’t be beat in their recklessness, and yet KC rose to the challenge.

Restaurant delivery workers organized and won a minimum wage in 2021 — but their counterparts working for grocery delivery services like Instacart aren’t included.

This leaves thousands of NYC's newly arrived African immigrants unprotected and exploited. nyc.streetsblog.org/2024/11/14/n...

Ah yes, the office. A magical place where I can hear multiple people clipping their nails daily.

We went to the MAGA portion of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington and the thing that I constantly noticed was that all of the service workers there seemed to be traumatized. Overly thankful for us exercising basic courtesy and appreciation, to the point of giving us so many free things.

And yet the “historic preservationists” will only ever come out to complain about bike lanes.

How his lawyer stands up and says this with a straight face is just beyond comprehension. Like they did everything short of prefacing each text with “hello, we are doing this specific definitely illegal crime today.” and cc’ing the fbi.

I think this explains everything, including how Adams has behaved even in the brief amount of time since he was indicted.
My theory of Eric Adams is that because he’s a cop, he’s conditioned to believe there will never be any consequences for corruption.

Companies that do not let employees that are sick, but still choose to work, the ability to work from home are companies that care more about power over their employees than the actual productivity of their business.

Cars really suck all humanity out of people. You can really be like, hey, maybe driving slower would be good so that less people die and people will literally argue with you that they should be allowed to kill people in exchange for a 3 minute faster commute.

The fact that we have no political will to stop this insanity is just mind-numbing.

I don’t think people realize the ripple effects that congestion causes. Someone is sick on a train, so the train can’t move until EMS arrives. But the EMS can’t arrive because they are stuck in traffic. Wouldn’t be an issue if there were (clear) bus lanes the EMS could drive down.

"The most effective way to deal with opposition from local businesses is to just get the bike lanes built.”
I read all the studies on the economic impact of bike lanes. Here's what I learned.
Research proves that bike lanes are good for business. So why do so many stores and restaurants still oppose them?
