When I read What Is To Be Done, I read it as if all of Lenin’s talk of pamphlets and newspapers were outdated but could be converted to modern media for guidance. Now I’m thinking maybe we’ll end up needing to use pamphlets after all.

It really doesn’t feel like Trump is going to act as president for very long at all. My intuition just tells me that more craziness is going to happen. The guy is like 80.

I’ve been wondering if the feud with the FBI is real or if Trump still plans to use them for his own purposes. Thing is, as reprehensible as the FBI has been over the decades, most of them are true-believers that think they’re doing good. He’s going to use ICE. Those people are fucking monsters.

I’ve just started reading The Origin of the Family, and while Engels is always a fascinating read, it’s notable how wrong most of his early bedrock assertions ended up being in contrast to how accurate a lot of his mathematical assertions in Anti-Deuring were.
