If you gave Chuck Schumer three wishes, he'd negotiate it down to one, then wish for something that maintained the status quo.
Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.

Barry Loudermilk retiring in an R+12 district should absolutely freak the hell out of Mike Johnson and House Republicans. He’s only 62—and if he’s worried about re-election, a reckoning is coming this November.

I really like this version of the clip because you can hear people doing the barks (people bark like a dog for Brody, it's a thing), what sounds like some "A-E-Dub" chants (AEW fans do that when it's a matchup they really want to see) but then everybody coalesces on "FUCK ICE"
Wow! What sounded like the entire AEW Dynamite audience in Las Vegas tonight chanted "Fuck ICE! Fuck ICE!" in unison before the main event

🧵 Wanna know why we’ve never had a female president? Why women are said to be too emotional to hold office? Why Kamala was mocked, belittled, and patronized while she was running for the presidency? It’s because women PROTECT children. Women stand up for what is right. @bittersouth.bsky.social

When you care about something deeply, & you see it going horrifically wrong, exhaustion is inevitable. But I've found the best antidote to exhaustion is engagement, participation, standing up, speaking out, staying strong, rallying, marching, protesting ... engaging.

Come on friends, let's roll.

This happened THREE times with Trump's DOJ to date.

NONE of the criminal cases against Trump featured those antics.

Let's speak plainly.

In a legitimate criminal cases, political appointees don't have to first hollow out U.S. Attorney offices of objecting career prosecutors with integrity; federal judges don't kill the cases at the cradle, and the government doesn't fight tooth and nail to revive them.

"Trump likely to lose latest fight over felony convictions"

After roughly three hours of oral arguments, Judge Hellerstein seems no more likely to transfer Trump's criminal case to federal court than he was the last two times he rejected similar efforts.

Trump likely to lose latest fight over felony convictions
"I think we are beating a dead horse," Judge Hellerstein said.

ICE detained a five-year-old child who got sick under their watch.

ICE has gone after people who came here through legal processes.

This is out of control. Kristi Noem has got to go.
