I think I could handle this all better if there was like- a largish break twice a year I could be working towards. Summer break and winter. But it’s just- the endless grind, with no way out.

Christafucking mighty, I cannot win here. I’m not psychic, and there are still a million little nuances I have not yet personally encountered, any of which can get you into massive fucking trouble. With a culture of ‘do not bother other people’ enforced from the top.

Depends on if it’s a complete coverage of basics, a tiny little half-measure, or fully enough for a decent living. In two instances, I tell my boss to fuck himself and do art after I sleep for three weeks and buy all the books I’ve missed. If it’s like 500 a month, I put it toward my student loans

We're gonna need a truth and reconciliation commission and Nuremberg style trials to reckon with all of this evil, and any Dem candidate for office who shies away from a full reckoning in the name of "moving forward as a nation" can get well and truly fucked
