I’m just a little surprised that Rubio didn’t say “vibes.”
STEPHANOPOULOS: Trump said the US is going to 'run Venezuela.' Under what legal authority?

RUBIO: We want a better future for the people of Venezuela

STEPHANOPOULOS: I'll ask again -- what is the legal authority?

RUBIO: We have court orders

We condemn the scandalous US visa ban on former EU Commisioner Breton and digital activists. Protecting democracy isn’t censorship. ✋🏼

Disinformation isn’t free speech. Europe won’t take lessons from those undermining democracy and free speech.

Here in Europe we set our own laws. 🇪🇺✊🏼

The people who profited most from the cancel culture/free speech panic were less interested in actual freedom of speech than establishing their own control over public discourse. You don't even have to take my word for it. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2025/1...

“The Supreme Court decided not to have a Christmas party for 12 straight years because the justices couldn’t agree on whether to invite the Court’s Black employees” is about as tidy an encapsulation of the Supreme Court’s whole deal as I can think of
The Alarmingly Racist History of the Supreme Court’s Canceled 1947 Christmas Party
The Court held its first-ever office Christmas party in 1946. The following year, the clerks suggested inviting Black employees. It did not go over well.

Perv-A-Lago was a sex dungeon.

Where did you think they came up with the stupid Comet Pizza idea? Every Republican Accusation is a Confession.™️ You know that.
The President of the United States deleted this photo of the drawer full of photos with himself and Jeffrey Epstein from the DOJ's illegally redacted release of the files last night.

We are watching a cover up in real time.

This is file 468.

Seriously, the Epstein documents released by the House are incredibly revealing. I hope someone is going through them very carefully. And now that they are easily accessed by the public, we owe it to ourselves to look at them before the DOJ gets their paws on them.

I can’t seem to post the link to the cache of documents receivedbythe Epstein Estate and released by the House last week. Over 20,000 of them.

The House released a tranche of thousands of documents from the materials they received from the Epstein estate. They make for interesting reading. I'll try to post the link in the comments.

Does he really think that if he just keeps on talking that the lies become truths?
"Let others wallow in Watergate, we are going to do our job." Richard Nixon, before being totally consumed by Watergate
Trump: "What I just don't want Epstein to do is detract from the great success of the Republican Party ... don't talk about it too much, because honestly I don't want it taking away from us. It's really a Democrat problem. The whole thing is a hoax."

Explain to me how a country as wealthy as this one could have so many homeless people.
Trump is about to throw 170,000 formerly homeless families out of supportive housing onto the street.

This is not “housing policy.” It is one more step from the authoritarian playbook to elevate cruelty, scapegoat the vulnerable, punish cities & provoke disorder.
