Hang on a minute. For the third consecutive day there’s a good news Labour story in MSM. Something in the air???

It’s all there: more apprenticeships, more rights for workers and renters – and most of all, a focus on children. What a shame Labour wavers about saying so, says Guardian columnist Polly Toynbee

In unsurprising news, Conservatives are annoyed that the new Equality and Human Rights Commission head has suggested that immigration is not the most important issue facing the UK

Conservatives (and Reform) want to create division

So: Strategy document, organisation launches, finance plans, white papers, action plans, reviews, audits, inquries etc.

London is just wonderful this evening! There is so much nonsense talked about how much trouble there is. It’s beautiful and diverse and incredibly welcoming. Great day.

Only if one has a very narrow sense of identity. Britain has always been a land of immigrants and of cultural mixing. I cannot think of a single century in the past two millennia where there hasn't been a significant wave of migration to these islands.

Exactly - and that applies to the entire European continent and to other parts of the world as well.

Those who consider immigration as the biggest problem of our time have not the slightest knowledge of human history at all.

Strange that!
Don’t forget. Biden’s DoJ was investigating uncharged third parties in the Epstein files up until the last minute. Trump shut down the investigation, sent the files to DC, & fired the prosecutors. They went through them, redacted Trump’s name, then elected not to release them and closed the matter.

Fair point. Reform just needs scrutiny. Bucket loads of it. If Farage wants to be PM, make him work for it, account for himself and his nasty, idiotic, unworkable policies. Make him angry. Show people what they’re voting for.

“We have sacrificed our national success because of our fear of immigration. And now, if Farage has his way, we'll do it all over again”

Superb, important analysis of the profound harm Farage does to our country in his rabidly racist and egotistical bid for power

Today’s Animal Welfare Strategy will safeguard animals:

🐶In the home
🐮On the farm
🦊In the wild

We've improved zoo standards, ended puppy smuggling and protected livestock from dog attacks.

Now, we'll ban caged hens, cruel snares, trail hunting, and curb low welfare dog breeding.
