Today is my first Thanksgiving without either of my parents. I was sitting on the floor crying just now, and my kitten (who’s obsessed with my curly hair) came over and started attacking my ponytail. It shocked me so much that I burst out laughing, and now I feel a lot better. Cats are miracles. 💜

I am annoying the hell out of my very small circle of close friends by obsessing over the feral cat I’m trying to convince to move in with me. It is occasionally an adequate distraction from The Horrors, but it’s also just how I’m built. Here he is snoozing in his outdoor shelter.
